29 Weeks

Emma:
She is getting bigger. I can feel it! I know she will,  but it seems like she doesn't have anywhere else she could go.  She's big on rolling around and making me feel sick. But its good knowing she's still moving around in there. She also likes to kick like crazy until I tell Jake to watch, or feel, my stomach. Then she just stops. Attitude already. ;)
"Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain. To meet his increasing nutritional demands, you'll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because his bones are soaking up lots of calcium, be sure to drink your milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in your baby's hardening skeleton each day."

Me:
I had another follow up Perinatologist appointment on Friday that turned into a 5 hour event .  I went in just to check Emma's growth since the accident but mentioned feeling cramping in my abdomen and pain in my right leg.   Then the doctor wanted to do another non-stress test and an ultrasound of my leg to check for blood clots.  The non-stress test is supposed to only be about 20 minutes but when Emma's heart rate wasn't fluctuating like it should it turned into almost 2 hours hooked up to heart rate and contraction monitors.  They were concerned about that while I was in the hospital after the accident but released us attributing it to the pain medication making her sleepy.  After "buzzing" her multiple times trying to get her heart rate up and having me drink way too much apple juice they finally said I could go but wanted me to come back Monday.   I also had to get an ultrasound of my leg and luckily no blood clots.
