Baby Girl:
"Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like she's practicing martial arts as her initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to her activity as you get to know her better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now, and if you're having a girl, her vagina has begun to form as well."
Me:
This week has been pretty good. I didn't have to work a graveyard and we had family visit. Howard and Gwen came to visit on Wednesday and took us out to dinner than night at Cafe Rio. Right as I was finishing eating baby girl started kicking like crazy and Jake was able to feel her kick for the first time! It was really amazing. : ) We spent some time up at the Ranch with Howard, Gwen, Lex, Ian, jakey, Ben, Sam, Adam, and liz. We brought my dad's 4-wheeler up and Jake entertained the kids. Saturday night everyone came to our house (minus Lex and Ian) to have dinner. Wing Nutz, Papa Johns, and Village Inn Pies. It was quite the spread. This weeks cravings include pickles, white rice with soy, and hummus with pita chips. We also put the baby crib together this week! Its crazy having a crib in our house.

Karleigh, What a gift to see you and Jake and little baby Haglund in the works. She seems more real after seeing you in person and feeling her KICK! She is a person in there. I so much enjoy you sharing your thoughts in your baby blog. Soon she will arrive! Thanks again for sharing your home with us. Much love gwen
